Trey Augenstein
(Ya Boy T-Nasty)
Sound Designer
Welcome! I'm a sound designer with a passion for immersive audio and creative storytelling. I graduated from Full Sail University with a bachelors degree in audio production. While there, I gained hands-on experience in sound design, mixing, and post-production.
Growing up, I was always drawn to the worlds of sound and video games. Now I bring them together in my work. Whether it’s crafting subtle footsteps or cinematic explosions, I love building the sonic elements that bring interactive experiences to life.
Let’s make something that sounds amazing.

DEMO REEL
Created with Adobe Premiere
Sound Design Projects
The video below is a demo reel of "The Blacksmith". I designed every sound in the reel from beginning to end. It shows a blacksmith who is awakened at the sound of an enemy outside his smithy!
This video is a trailer I created for a client. I created the camera angles/cuts and all the sound effects.
Escape From Hell is a bloody platformer where the goal is to...escape from hell! The audio assets in the game were created 100% from scratch and designed by me. Clicking on the logo will take you to my itch.io page, where the game is posted and playable!
To the right, I have included just some of the audio assets I created for the game, as well as the game's design concept PDF to provide a little more information.

Below are two more projects that I worked on. I first created sounds for a graveyard, and thunder can be heard in the background! The sounds of tormented souls can be heard in different areas of the graveyard! I also created sounds for a Sci-Fi facility on the brink of destruction!

Sound Design Demo Reel
This video showcases my work on the two school projects described above.
Sound Design Process Video
This next video showcases the steps I took in order to create the sound of a door closing.
Below are a couple other projects that I have worked on. The one of the left is a simple menu UI sound design. The one on the right is different sound effects from spells in a game, including a little voiceover.
